Paintings made simply because I wanted to paint them.

When I’m not working on commissions, I’m usually painting whatever has caught my attention lately: blue-and-white china, flowers, little still-life arrangements, scientific objects, and the occasional idea that refuses to leave me alone.

I have a particular weakness chinoiserie, lemons, and the beautiful overlap between art and science.
